Orange Answerphone

Orange Answer Phone lets you make the most of life. It's an easy to use, secure, flexible service that's designed to save you time and effort.

You can record a personal greeting so that your callers know they've called the right phone, and are therefore more likely to leave you a message.

You don't even need to have your phone with you to listen to your messages. You can pick them up with any Orange phone or from any other phone (just call (+44) 07973 100 123). And as part of our International Services, you can even pick up your messages when you're out of the country. For both of these services all you have to do is set up a PIN number in advance.

If you're an Orange pay as you go customer you can access your Answer Phone just as you do whilst at home. Just call 123 to access your Answer Phone.

Two Answer Phone services have been created specifically with time in mind. Group Messaging lets you record a message and send it to a group of up to 25 Orange customers all at once, saving you the trouble of calling them individually. And Answer Phone Call Return enables you to return a call at the press of a single button - no more frantic hunting for a piece of paper to scribble a number down.

And for those occasions when you know you won't be around to make an important call, for example if you know you're going to be on holiday when it's a friend's birthday; you can pre-record a voice message, specify the time and date you want it sent, and then relax knowing that your message will arrive when you want it to.

Listen To Your Email

It's so frustrating when you're out and about, away from a computer, and you want to check your email quickly. Well, with an Orange phone and Orange Email account you can do just that. Wherever you are, even if you're abroad, you can call your Answer Phone and listen to your email messages, as well as your voice messages.

It's very easy to use. Once you've set up your free Orange Email address, you simply register your Orange phone to that account. Then you just call your Answer Phone, by dialling 123 from your Orange phone, select option 4 and listen to your emails.

Calls to your Answer Phone will be charged at your standard Service Plan rate, while time spent listening to your emails will be charged at 20p per minute, at all times whilst in the UK.

You can also manage your Orange Email messages through your Answer Phone - if you delete them, they'll automatically be deleted from your Orange Email mailbox, and messages you've listened to will be marked as 'read'. And you don't even have to keep calling your Answer Phone to find out if that important email has arrived - you can set up your Orange Email account so you receive a text message alert whenever you receive new email, or email from a particular address.

Answer Fax

It's amazing how much time you can waste chasing faxes, waiting for them to arrive and even looking for lost ones. If your time is precious, then Orange Answer Fax is for you. Orange Answer Fax enables you to retrieve faxes from your Answer Phone. Whenever a fax is sent to your Answer Fax number, you are sent a text message telling you the number it was sent from and how many pages it is. You then decide which fax machine to print it out on.

If it is urgent, you can send it to the nearest fax machine. You simply call your Orange Answer Phone and follow the simple steps. If it is confidential, or personal, you might want to wait until you get back to the privacy of your office, or even until you get home that night. It is entirely up to you.

You can also use Answer Fax abroad. 24 hours before leaving the country you need to set up a PIN number for your Answer Phone. This will enable you to access Answer Fax via your Orange phone or even a local landline (where the partner networks support this service).

Orange Assistant

Nothing beats a nice friendly voice at the end of a phone. With Orange Assistant, an Orange Customer Service Representative will answer the calls that you can't take. The representative welcomes the caller with a personalised greeting (which you can change as often as you like) then takes down the message and sends it to you as a text message.
