Call Management

Call Barring

If you want to leave your Orange phone with someone else for a short time, it's an idea to get Call barring. It puts you in control of your phone bill by limiting the numbers someone else can call from your phone.

To avoid running up a big phone bill, you might want to bar international calls or calls to premium rate numbers. Or you may prefer to preset
certain numbers in your Fixed Dialling Phonebook, such as your office and your GP, so when you leave your phone with someone they can still get in touch if they need to.

Call Divert

Call divert is for people who lead busy lives but don't want to miss important calls or faxes.

It enables you to divert your calls to another number, ensure your faxes don't pile up in the wrong tray and avoid being disturbed during that special concert or ceremony.

Call divert is here to make every day easier. You might need to divert calls from your Orange phone to your office, or have faxes printed out at another location. And if you're going to a concert or a lecture you probably won't want to be disturbed at all. So it's very convenient to be able to divert your calls and have someone else answer them until you're free.

Phonebook & Caller ID

Knowing who's calling you before you answer the phone can be quite an advantage. You have the option of taking the call or not. And it gives you a moment to prepare yourself, perhaps moving to somewhere quieter or more private. Of course it also works the other way around too. When you make a call to someone, provided their phone has Caller id, they'll know it's you.

Your Orange Phonebook saves you carrying a bulky address book everywhere you go. So as long as you keep your Orange Phonebook up to date, you'll be able to access all your numbers. When your phone rings the caller's name will appear on screen so you know exactly who's calling.*

*Caller id may not be available when receiving calls from abroad.

Keep up to 250 names and numbers from your SIM address book in a safe place, or transfer them easily if you're changing your phone, with Orange Memory Mate.

Conference Calling

Organising an evening out is now simpler than ever. Instead of calling up your friends one at a time to try and agree a time and place, you can speak with up to five of them all at once on your Orange phone.

As you are the one who organised the call, you can add new friends to the conversation when you want, and even have private conversations with selected callers that the others will not be able to hear.

Of course, you can use Conference Calling for a lot more than just organising your social life. It's particularly useful when trying to arrange a meeting, or even for holding a meeting by phone when you cannot get together with your colleagues.

Line 2

Line 2 is Orange's way of letting you keep two types of calls separate. It's like having two phones in one, with separate numbers and bills. It's great for keeping your work and personal calls separate, and there are other advantages.

A separate bill could be useful for tax purposes if you're self-employed. Or if you're employed, you may wish to submit it for expenses claims. You won't get the two types of calls mixed up.

A separate ring tone means you're able to distinguish between incoming calls.

*Line 2 is only available on selected Orange Value Promise Service Plans
Line 2 is not available with Orange Everytime 20 where calls to other UK networks are in the inclusive minutes.
